My debut novel, The Immortality of Birds, about the coming-of-age of 19^th century uber muse Lou von Salome, was excerpted in the 92^nd St. Y literary journal, Podium. My poem “A Restrained Thought Does Not as a Rule Return to the Mind," was a Pushcart Prize Finalist.

I hold an MFA/Writing and was co-founder of Poetry OtherWise, a weeklong writing conference held for many years a stone’s throw from Yeats’ cottage in East Sussex, England.

My interest in holistic healthcare led me to a rigorous four-year training in mind/body healing, and now I help clients resolve physical and emotional issues through powerful yet gentle hands-on healing techniques.

I also enjoy the surprising late-in-life joy of working with family and using my MBA as chief financial officer at our startup focused on healthcare.

I try to bring imagination and clarity to everything I do.
